H2O is the scientific name for water. Each water molecule is made of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

Water can exist in three main forms:

The Water Cycle
Water moves around Earth in a cycle. It evaporates into the air, forms clouds, falls as rain or snow, and collects again in rivers, lakes, and oceans.
